2025 Pre-Season Testing: First Look

 The F1 2025 Pre-Season Test just kicked off in Bahrain, and OMG, SO MUCH is happening! New faces, new teams, and of course, a whole lot of drama! Buckle up, ‘cause ill spill everything for you! 🚗💨


● Day 1: Lando Norris is Flying, But… Lights Out?! 

McLaren is NOT playing around this season! Lando Norris topped the timesheets with a 1:30.430 lap time, making it clear that he's ready to fight. But just as things were getting intense.... BOOM, the power went out! #FormulaGelap

Yes, you read that right! Gara-gara ada masalah di power station luar, tiba-tiba garasi jadi gelap total! F1 but make it horror, right? 😂 Luckily, the session got extended by an hour, so teams could still run their programs. Crisis averted... for now. 



● Kimi Antonelli’s First F1 Test and He’s ALREADY Cooking! 🔥

Okay, let’s talk about Andrea Kimi Antonelli, because this debut? INSANE. He's only 18, skipped F2 completely, and yet, first day in an F1 car, and he’s already topping the morning session with 78 laps. LIKE?? Excuse me, you just got here?!?!?!

People were doubting him, saying he wasn’t ready, but he just pulled up, grabbed the wheel of that Mercedes, and basically said, "Watch this." The confidence, the control, he's driving like he’s been in F1 for YEARS. If this is just testing, I can't imagine what he'll do once the real season starts.


● Lewis Hamilton in Ferrari... Still Feels Unreal 

Seeing Lewis Hamilton in Ferrari red still feels unreal. After lebih dari 10 tahun bareng Mercedes, now he’s officially a Scuderia driver, and honestly? He looks right at home.

Day 1 of testing, and Lewis completed over 70 laps, finishing P5 in the morning session. Not a bad start, but let’s be real, lap times in testing don’t tell the full story. Yang penting adalah gimana mobilnya terasa di track, and sejauh ini, Lewis keliatan nyaman, tenang, dan full focus.

Tapi here’s the big question: Will Ferrari finally give him a championship-worthy car? Karena kalau iya, this could be a legendary season. If not… ya, we all know Ferrari’s history with “almost” moments. Let’s hope they don’t fumble this one.


● Carlos Sainz in Williams: A Fresh Start

If there’s one thing we never expected to see, it’s Carlos Sainz in a Williams. But here we are, and honestly? He makes it look good. Day 1, and Carlos rolled out in that blue-and-black FW47 like he’s been there forever. No hesitation, no nerves, just straight to work. It’s a HUGE change from Ferrari, but he looked focused and locked in.

The real question is: can Williams give him a car that actually fights up front? Karena kalau iya, Carlos is 100% ready to deliver. He’s been underrated for too long, and this season? He’s out to prove a point.

If you wanna catch all the action, testing runs from Feb 26-28 at the Bahrain International Circuit. The schedule is:

Morning session: 08:00 - 12:00

Afternoon session: 13:00 - 17:00
